Acquirer Systems announced today that MasterCard Worldwide has qualified the Acquirer Systems Personalisation Validation Toolkit, Pivot, against their most recent card personalization requirements, Version 5.5.

Accurate testing and validation of both contact (EMV) and contactless and mobile MasterCard PayPass cards is vital to the global interoperability of payment cards. PIVOT is maintained against the latest network standards to help card developers, issuers and bureaux ensure that their MasterCard payment products are personalized correctly. This new update sees the addition of almost 250 new card tests as well as a fully programmable card analyzer and data validator.

Christian Delporte, Head of Chip Engineering at MasterCard Worldwide, commented, "We are pleased that the CPV module of the PIVOT tool offered by Acquirers Systems, a recognized player in the chip testing market, is qualified against the Personalization Validation Tool Requirements v5.5 as part of the MasterCard qualification program. This new qualified test tool will help MasterCard issuers to prepare for the formal Card Personalization Validation (CPV) session."

Acquirer Systems' General Manager, Fergal Molloy, commented "MasterCard's latest qualification of PIVOT underscores our ongoing commitment to MasterCard's products and members. As a company, we look forward to working with new and existing customers not only to increase the quality of their deliverables, but also to decrease their time-to-market."

This latest release of PIVOT is available immediately for existing customers while new customers can contact Acquirer Systems for an online demonstration with one of our in-house experts.
