Payworks mobile development effort gets funding boost from German government

Munich based Mobile Payment Company payworks demonstrates its technology leadership in the area of mobile payment processing and receives project funding from the Central Innovation Program for SMEs (ZIM) by Germany's Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.

For the development of their mobile payment processing platform, payworks got granted project funding from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. Multiple international payment providers are already operating their mobile payment solution on top of the processing infrastructure provided by payworks.

Currently, payworks' technology is used for mobile Commerce as well as mobile Point of Sale transaction processing.

The project, which has now been granted funding from the German governments' Central Innovation Program for SMEs, aims at the combination of these two worlds. Thereby, payworks continues to position itself as innovation driver in the dynamically evolving mobile payment market. The project is expected to be completed in early 2014.
