SecureNet Payment Systems appoints Mike Hennesy CTO

SecureNet Payment Systems, payment processing technology provider, today announced the appointment of Mike Hennesy to its executive leadership team as Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer.

Mike Hennesy brings more than 16 years of experience leading technology organizations in the payments industry. Prior to joining the SecureNet team, Hennesy was Vice President of Information Technology at Intuit, Inc. where he notably spearheaded the integration of payment processing into the company's QuickBooks accounting platform. Hennesy founded Innovative Merchant Solutions, LLC, a leading independent bankcard acquirer, bought by Intuit in 2003 and has held numerous senior IT management positions at payments companies including Superior Bankcard Service, LLC.

Hennesy has an extensive background in the management of enterprise system planning and integration, service availability management, network engineering, security and compliance and product development. As SecureNet's technical visionary, Hennesy will be responsible for directing SecureNet's Information Technology initiatives including software development, network engineering, network operations, product certification and information security.
