The Futures and Options Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Natasha Stromberg as Manager, Regulation with effect from 10 December.
Natasha joins the FOA from the Financial Services Authority (FSA) where she was most recently a senior associate in the Derivatives Market Infrastructure and Policy unit and, more specifically, acted as lead supervisor of the London Metal Exchange.
Among her core areas of responsibility at the FOA will be the commodities-related activities of the Association, which runs committees and working groups on energy, power, emissions and metals.
In addition to her time at the FSA, where she was the policy lead for global commodity market regulation, Natasha has extensive experience in the investment banking industry, including risk, client clearing and business management roles at Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank and ABN AMRO.
"We are delighted to welcome Natasha to the FOA's regulatory team. Her experience will be a huge asset at a time of growing regulatory change and as FOA strives to assist members in the implementation of core regulations such as EMIR and MiFID/MiFIR," said Kathleen Traynor, Executive Director, Regulation.
