BBVA Compass today expanded its growing stable of mobile banking apps with the launch of native applications for the Windows Phone platform and Kindle Fire tablet.

The bank remains committed to providing native applications for the most popular mobile platforms, allowing users to enjoy a mobile banking experience that is consistent with their chosen devices. BBVA Compass currently provides mobile banking apps for iPhone® and iPad® mobile digital devices, BlackBerry® devices and the Android™ mobile digital platform.

"This is part of our ongoing commitment to create a seamless customer experience," said Alex Carriles, executive vice president and director of Mobile Strategy and Retail Innovation at BBVA Compass. "With apps customized for each device, we can provide the most robust user experience possible and offer access to banking services wherever and whenever is most convenient for our customers."

Both new apps leverage the devices' specific user experience to offer access to such mobile banking features as bill pay, account transfers, review balances and even see images of paid checks. Initial consumer reaction to both applications has been positive, with most users indicating excitement for having an app for their chosen device.

"We expect to see mobile devices such as the Kindle Fire becoming favorites during the holidays, so we are pleased to able to introduce these two additional apps to satisfy our customers," Carriles said.
