WorldNet inks license agreement with Pago Technology

WorldNet, the Dublin-based provider of multi-channel Payment Gateway solutions to international payment partners, today announced the signing of a license agreement with US-based payments provider Pago Technology LLC.

WorldNet will provide Pago Technology with a hosted white-label Payment Gateway solution, providing a full suite of eCommerce and mobile payment solutions for distribution under the Pago Technology brand in selected European markets.

WorldNet Chief Executive, Will Byrne commented, "We are delighted to announce our agreement with Pago Technology as it represents a very significant milestone in the expansion of our business to new international markets and jurisdictions beyond our existing Partner base."

"This alliance is another important step in our strategy of providing white-label Partners with own-brand, cost-effective and market-ready Payment Gateway solutions. We look forward to working with the Pago Technology team to deliver our innovative products and support services to their target customer base," said Byrne.

Pago Technology Chief Executive Officer, Enrique Perez said "Pago Technology has been looking to expand our successful US-based Payments business into Europe. By using the WorldNet Payment Gateway solution, we can compete at the highest level of eCommerce and mobile processing".
