"Internet trading has grown rapidly since the iPhone and iPad were launched. So far this year, securities trading via the Internet has accounted for 50 percent of the total trading value of retail investors. The number of trades via mobile phones has also expanded quickly, with such trades accounting for 5.25 percent of Internet trading value, up from 3.35 percent last year.
