The Royal Bank of Scotland Financial Markets eCommerce business has today announced the appointment of Edward Fluss as Vice President, e-commerce sales, North America.
Edward joins from Instinet/Island, an institutional online broker, where he was Vice President of Product Management and Data Services covering a variety of equity trading products, applications and systems. Prior to his Instinet role Edward worked at Bear Stearns where he was director of Sales and Trading.
Edward will be working on the relationship management and sales side focusing on joint venture initiatives. He will report into Matt Thomas, Head of Financial Markets eCommerce, North America.
Commenting on the appointment, Matt Thomas said: "I am delighted that Ed has joined the team. His wealth of experience and knowledge will play an important part in the development of our joint venture initiatives that will add value to the client. Ed joins at an opportune time as we integrate our successful FX business into the prestigious cross product offering of RBS Greenwich Capital."
