Earthport, the cross-border payments service provider, and ebpSource, the leading specialists in electronic bill presentment and payment, today announce an agreement that will enable ebpSource to offer complementary cross-border payments solutions to its customers.

The partnership comes in response to the growing demand from organisations for strategic international payments solutions to complement what they are doing on a national level.

ebpSource delivers software solutions, consultancy and support to global billers, banks, payment processors and outsourced service providers. ebpSource is also master international distributor for a number of market-leading e-billing and payment technologies. With a strong presence in more than 50 countries, Earthport provides a transparent and cost-effective service for clearing and settling high volumes of low value payments, ensuring great efficiency and service reliability.

"We are excited about this partnership and the opportunity to deliver innovative solutions to the payments industry. The agreement with Earthport will enable our clients to benefit from great synergies, both in expanding supply chain finance solutions internationally and further automating cross-border payments." said Steve Wright, EVP commercial operations at ebpSource.

"The partnership with ebpSource is a logical step in expanding our client base and responding to the increasing demand for efficient international payments solutions. We are looking forward to working with ebpSource to enable financial institutions to venture into new markets and foster the strategic growth of their business." added Paul Thomas, executive director at Earthport.
