(Nasdaq:TIBX), a leading business integration and process management software company that enables real-time business, today announced a new technology partnership to provide customers with improved process performance management solutions and make BI available to more users throughout an organization.
Working together, Business Objects and TIBCO intend to integrate Business Objects XI Built for Operational BI with the TIBCO Staffware Process Suite, a platform independent solution delivering enterprise-wide business process management (BPM) functionality. In addition, both companies will also join each others' technology partner programs.

Through its relationship with TIBCO, Business Objects is seeking to make BI more "process-aware." Aligning BI with business processes is critical to performance management because it ties organizational performance closer to business objectives. It also makes BI more pervasive within organizations as it brings BI directly to where workers spend their time - within business processes themselves. This allows people to have more intelligence at their fingertips and make better day-to-day decisions.
