Renesas chooses Micropross NFC test tools

Micropross announced a collaboration with Renesas Electronics Corporation, a premier provider of advanced semiconductor solutions, for the supply of test equipment, to perform qualification of Renesas' future NFC products.

Tools that will be supplied include ISO 10373-6, EMVCo and NFC Forum analog test benches, manipulation robots (Microbot) as well as protocol analysers (MP300 ACL1).

Takashi Tsukamoto, Department Manager of Security Technology Development Department, Secure MCU Business Division for Renesas Electronics Corporation said : "We have a long time experience in the usage of Micropross solutions. We have always been satisfied of those tools, from both a quality and support point of view, and it was natural to continue with Micropross for the validation of our NFC related products."
