BPC-USA, the leading provider of Open System e-payment solutions for the North American financial industry, is announcing the availability of a prepackaged payment switch.

The solution combines BPC's high performance SmartSwitch software with the advanced, cost-effective HP Integrity NonStop platform. The integrated solution meets the needs of financial institutions, local Independent Service Organizations (ISO), retailers and merchant processors.

SmartSwitch from BPC is a sophisticated, secure, flexible and highly scalable solution that manages, across all channels, all authorization requirements, including authorization routing, interface support and stand-in authorization. The solution's rules-driven configuration enables organizations to rapidly optimize authorization routing, switching, verifications and usage. The solution also provides an online interface to link external devices - such as ATMs and POS terminals, to the Internet and mobile payment systems, and to route transaction data to issuers.

The HP Integrity NonStop server is the platform of choice for many financial institutions, local ISOs, retailers and merchant processors requiring a fault tolerant environment within their e-payments infrastructure. BPC has extensive experience for card payment providers seeking alternatives for their legacy e-payment solutions. Working together, BPC and HP have helped numerous organizations successfully replace their legacy infrastructure with BPC's solutions running on HP Integrity NonStop servers. BPC's solutions have also earned HP AllianceONE Converged Infrastructure Ready certification enabling organizations to manage the changing demands of their customers, while accelerating time to market and time to business value.

"As part of our long-term and extensive collaboration with HP, we have created a proven and pre-configured solution to enable the local financial companies to leverage their payment switch. SmartSwitch on HP Integrity NonStop servers brings a range of advantages, including high performance, configurable authorization, while also reducing migration risks and lowering acquisition, deployment and operating costs," commented Marc Solomon, SVP North American Sales and MD, BPC-USA.
