Radianz, the leading global provider of financial connectivity services, announced that it has changed its name to BT Radianz, effective today.
The change reflects the company's new ownership and the many benefits that come from being a part of British Telecommunications plc (BT), one of the world's leading providers of communications solutions.
The name change follows BT's acquisition of Radianz from Reuters, which was completed on April 29, 2005. At that time, Radianz became part of BT Global Services, the international networked IT services arm of the BT Group.
Howard Edelstein, chief executive officer, BT Radianz, said: "The name change is indicative of our combined strengths. We have revolutionized financial services connectivity and BT provides the increased neutrality, substantial resources and additional global reach to take our shared infrastructure platform to the next level. This is an exciting stage in Radianz's evolution and we look forward to growing our market-leading position within financial services as BT Radianz."
Andy Green, chief executive officer, BT Global Services, said: "Radianz has achieved a tremendous amount of brand recognition across the global financial services industry, especially within the last two years. It has built a great reputation for reliable and flexible service and is an important addition to BT as we continue our transformation into a provider of networked IT services to organizations world wide."
