Dexit Inc., (TSX: DXT) the creator and operator of the Dexit(R) electronic payment facilitation service for small transactions announced today the appointment of Janet C. Martin as Chief Operating Officer of Dexit Inc.
As Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Martin will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Dexit Inc. as well as playing a key role in the design and execution of Dexit's strategies for rolling out its service in Canada, laying a foundation for international expansion and continuing to build the functionality of the Dexit service.

Ms. Martin, a graduate of University of Toronto and University of Waterloo, brings an impressive track record of accomplishments in the financial services and packaged goods industry. Among her varied roles, Ms. Martin served as the Executive Vice President for Retail Banking in a major Canadian bank. In that capacity, she managed a retail network of 1,100 branches and 17,000 employees.
