The expanded facility will primarily focus on researching the latest industry trends and legislation as well as keeping track of changing technology. It will allow Tiger to strengthen the research service that it already offers to its clients, for example peer group comparisons for asset management companies and feasibility studies for new product concepts for software suppliers. It will also enable Tiger to identify solutions to client problems even more quickly than before.
Mark will be the central point of contact for all on-site Tiger consultants requiring business and technical information about the industry. Having worked for Tiger for five years as a consultant and in the Investment Management space for over twenty years, Mark has significant knowledge and experience of this area.
David King, Head of Consultancy, says: "Tiger and our customers are demanding better quality information to ensure that we keep ahead of our competitors. By having a dedicated research function, we are able to provide this quickly and effectively. Mark's methodological approach combined with his business and technical experience make him ideal to head up these services, and we are delighted that he has agreed to take on this new responsibility."
Mark adds: "Coordinating Tiger's project support and research function is a very exciting challenge for me. I look forward to helping our clients introduce the most appropriate solutions to their problems and strengthen their decision-making with accurate and timely information."
