Salerio, the comprehensive post-trade management system designed for securities and treasury trading firms, announced today that Diam International Limited, the Japanese and Asian equities specialist, has upgraded to the next generation edition of Salerio.
DIAM International has been an early adopter of Salerio since 2000 and the firm's decision to upgrade to Salerio's next generation edition is in recognition of the impact that Salerio's automation functionality has had on the firm's post-trade processes. By upgrading to the latest version of Salerio, DIAM International is now well placed to add Salerio's central trade matching module and will also benefit instantly from further instrument coverage within the Salerio treasury modules.
Salerio connects the front and back office and enables communication and interoperability between multiple counterparties and across many asset classes. Salerio is created as a standard product but with rich functionality that is easy to implement, configure and easy to upgrade. Customers wishing to upgrade from an earlier Salerio version, can take advantage of rapid project timelines, a reduction in implementation complexity and benefit from a rapid return on investment in their back office environment.
Bruce Hobson, CEO at Salerio said, "Our best practice approach to post-trade automation ensures that DIAM International will continue to reap the benefits of lower operating costs, reduced risk and meet their ever evolving regulatory requirements both now and in the future. Adopting the next generation of Salerio is testament to the value that Salerio can bring across a firm's confirmations, settlement and tracking management processes. We look forward to working with Jan and his team to help improve back office productivity and enable them to handle predicted levels of order flow."
Jan Weber, Finance Director at DIAM International Ltd added, "Our decision to upgrade to Salerio's next edition is based on its proven performance, ease of implementation and easy-to-use processes. Salerio is founded on a best practice workflow approach and easily interfaces with standard matching utilities and messaging networks which mean it is a simple process for us to integrattegrate without making changes to our internal systems."
