Independent Risk Monitoring appoints Deutsche Bank's Niall O'Connor COO
Independent Risk Monitoring Limited (IRML), which provides risk management services for institutional investors, pension fund trustees and asset management companies, announces the appointment of Niall O'Connor as Chief Operations Officer.

His appointment follows that of Chris Butterwick, Business Development Director, which was announced on May 09.
Previously, Niall was a Senior Director at Deutsche Bank. In this capacity as European Banks' Analyst, Niall held global responsibility for investment banks, stock exchanges and e-brokers and focused specifically on covering the German banking sector. Prior to this Niall worked at JP Morgan as European Engineering Analyst (Vice President).
Niall graduated from Cambridge University and has a PhD in Mathematical Physics.

As Chief Operations Officer, Niall will oversee daily operations management, IT project management, product development and technical analysis of risk models and derivative instruments.
IRML was launched in February 2004 by Yves de Naurois and Peter Jeffreys. IRML provides independent portfolio risk expertises and efficient portfolio monitoring for institutional investors, pension fund trustees and asset management companies.
