Ian Lowitt joins Marex Spectron as CFO and head of strategy

The Board of Marex Spectron Group ("Marex Spectron") is delighted to announce that it has appointed Ian Lowitt as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") and Global Head of Strategy, subject to usual regulatory approval.

Ian Lowitt joins from Barclays Wealth America where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Barclays, Ian spent 14 years at Lehman Brothers, latterly as CFO and prior to that, as Co-Chief Administrative Officer. Responsibilities at Lehman included Strategy, Finance, Technology and Operations. Following a transitional period, Marcus Scarlett the current CFO of Marex Spectron, will move to work within the JRJ Group on other initiatives. Ian will join Marex Spectron in July.
