MarkitServ, the most widely used electronic trade processing service for over-the-counter (OTC) derivative transactions, today announced that Julian Chesser has joined the company as Head of Asia. He is based in MarkitServ's Singapore office.
Chesser's responsibilities will span product management and strategy, client relations and business development for the region. He will also manage MarkitSERV's teams based in Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney.

Julian Chesser joins from Fidelity Worldwide, where he was chief operating officer for fixed income products in London for seven of the past nine years. Before Fidelity, Julian was at J.P. Morgan from 1997 to 2002 in London, New York and Milan and was co-head of fixed income operations between 2000 and 2002. He holds an LLB from Warwick University and went on to complete the Bar Vocational Course in London.
