Morpho (Safran group) announced today that its smartcard production site in Naucalpan, Mexico has achieved MasterCard and ISO 9001-2008 certifications.
Following the certification by global payment company MasterCard, Morpho's production site is now perfectly positioned to meet the needs of the growing market for high-security banking chip cards in Mexico.
In addition, Morpho's Naucalpan production site has also achieved the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001-2008 certification. This confirms that the plant complies with internationally recognized standards for Quality Management Systems (QMS), focusing on continuous improvement as a means to increase client satisfaction.
Opened in 2009, this high-technology site offers full smart card production for secure documents, including milling and embedding.
