Webline, the UK's largest and first online user of Origo standards, today announced that it will be moving to new offices, with a new management team appointed to ensure the company retains its position as the fastest growing adviser portal service in the UK.
In the past month Webline completed its record 45 millionth online quotation as well as reporting continued increases in online business submissions. In August the company will be relocating to new premises, close to its existing building in Fareham. The new property is grade II listed and is being specially updated to include the latest broadband and communication technologies.
Paul Holland, former managing director of Webline, will continue to head up the company but in a new role as executive chairman, giving day to day management of the company to his new senior team, as he explains:
"The past two years have seen continued strong growth, outpacing all our competitors and giving us over 25% market share of the online quotes market. As this expansion continues I will be focusing more on high-level strategic development to ensure the business is perfectly positioned to retain its lead in the protection market but more importantly to drive expansion further into the investment, retirement and high net worth arena. To do this it was vital to put together a solid team of experienced managers to run the day to day operation and ensure our 15,000 users, partners and providers continue to receive hands-on support as the service grows.
"I am delighted to confirm that we have just completed this exercise and have simultaneously found superb new premises for the expanded operation to work from. Having just completed our 45 millionth online quote, this together gives great cause for celebration but equally I would stress that the hard work will continue throughout, even before the bubbles go flat in the glass."
