KAsset provides over 600 provident, private and mutual funds to institutional and individual clients. KAsset is using the Charles River IMS to automate front & middle office investment operations across all asset classes, as well as the broker-neutral Charles River Network for fully-integrated electronic trading via FIX (Financial Information eXchange).

"We required a single consolidated solution that could scale as our business grows. While we were seeking world class solution providers, Charles River had a clear understanding of both our functional and business requirements; and its dedicated onsite training services ensured our staff were fully-trained to take advantage of the full capabilities of the solution. Charles River IMS supports our local Thai requirements and provides us with powerful data management and integration capabilities. This has improved data quality and gives us a completely streamlined workflow from portfolio management, compliance and trade execution right through to the back-office." said Ampol Polohakul, executive chairman at KAsset.

Charles River's Compliance module provides KAsset with greater flexibility to manage increased mandates by monitoring compliance throughout the trade lifecycle, including Thai SEC Rules requirements, across its entire group. Charles River's OEMS module allows KAsset to manage, place and execute orders sent by fund managers in a real-time dashboard that supports algorithmic trading, real-time data, integrated watch lists, program trading, Direct Market Access (DMA), and automated order routing. Combining order and execution management in a single interface enhances operational efficiencies at KAsset by eliminating workflow interruptions and order staging problems as well as cumbersome spreadsheets.

Cameron Field, managing director, Asia-Pacific at Charles River Development comments, "With the Charles River IMS, KAsset is able to realise the full potential of straight-through processing. Charles Riverr has been actively adding Thai brokers to the Charles River Network so that firms such as KAsset can take advantage of Thai-specific execution strategies and algorithms from both local and global providers via FIX. Thailand is an important market for Charles River and we are delighted to welcome KAsset to our growing client base in the region."
