In cooperation with Avaloq, SOFGEN has inaugurated a technical services department, which will perform mandates formerly provided by "Avaloq Services", namely the installation of AvaFactory and its associated toolbox. SOFGEN's upgrade factory will offer end-to-end extended upgrade services. The factory will leverage SOFGEN's Manila-based Avaloq Development centre, thereby providing the Avaloq community with a unique value proposition. It is SOFGEN's intention to deliver a complete range of technical support services to Avaloq users worldwide.
Market Leadership
"Johann Bachmann and Marcel Föllmi share my conviction that SOFGEN's strategy of combining best in class offshore delivery with on-site competence is compelling," said Jürg Graf, CEO, Avaloq platform. "The addition to our services portfolio of enhanced upgrade services and the creation of a technical support department will strengthen SOFGEN's presence in German-speaking Switzerland and enable the delivery of end-to-end service offerings over the entire IT lifecycle."
Alex Dembitz, SOFGEN chairman added, "The joint Avaloq/SOFGEN Development Centre in Manila allows Avaloq users to reduce their Total Cost of Ownership. I am delighted to be able to bring to our clients the industry leading competences of Messrs. Bachmann and Follmi, together with SOFGEN's team of Avaloq certified consultants, working from a network of offices that include Geneva, Kuala Lumpur, London, Manila, Singapore and Zurich."
