DTCC names Marie Chinnici-Everitt chief marketing officer

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) announced today that Marie Chinnici-Everitt has been appointed to the new position of Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer.

A well-respected financial marketing and communications industry leader, Chinnici-Everitt brings over 25 years of experience to DTCC.

Chinnici-Everitt will spearhead the global marketing and corporate communications functions for DTCC. She is responsible for overseeing the firm's global corporate image and positioning, marketing and branding initiatives as well as internal and external communications for DTCC, its subsidiaries, and their respective business lines. Chinnici-Everitt will report to Andrew Gray, DTCC Managing Director, Core Business Management.

"Marie's extensive knowledge and experience in financial marketing and communications will help DTCC further strengthen our brand image, messaging, and ensure alignment with the company's strategic direction during this critical period for the global financial markets," said Gray. "Her expertise in enhancing an organization's global corporate identity and in developing strategic marketing and communications programs will be instrumental as we continue to extend DTCC's global footprint."

Prior to DTCC, she served as Managing Director and head of International Business Planning and Enterprise Events at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she led international business planning across all marketing and corporate affairs disciplines in Europe, Latin America and Asia. In this role she was responsible for communications, media relations, advertising, branding, digital, corporate social responsibility and public policy.

Previously, as Managing Director and head of Marketing for Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Global Banking & Markets business, she led strategic marketing planning and execution for the corporate and institutional businesses and spearheaded the marketing transition for the Bank of America Merrill Lynch merger. Prior to the merger, she was Managing Director and head of Marketing and Communications for Merrill's Global Markets and Investment Banking division. Chinnicinici-Everitt held various leadership positions within Marketing as well as internal and external communications leading up to these roles.

Chinnici-Everitt earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Marketing from Fairfield University and received an MBA in Executive Management from St. John's University. She was named one of B to B Magazine's Top Marketers for 2004, 2005 and 2006.
