Newedge, a global leader in multi-asset brokerage and clearing, announced today the appointment of Jeff Pollack as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Americas, based in its New York office.
Mr. Pollack joins Newedge from Mizuho Securities USA, Inc., most recently serving as CFO and Chief Operating Officer for the company.
In his new role, Mr. Pollack, who will also spend considerable time in Newedge's Chicago office, will oversee the entire Newedge finance function in the U.S. and Canada. He will report to Isabelle Fandard, Newedge's Global CFO, and Antoine Babule, Chief Administration Officer for the Americas. Mr. Pollack will be responsible for working with Newedge executives to deliver high quality financial support and solutions ranging from capital and funding strategy, to management information and reporting, to actively managing the financial risk profile of the firm.
Prior to Mizuho, Mr. Pollack held senior finance leadership positions for firms that include Prebon Yamane (USA) Inc., Caspian Securities Inc. and Fidelity Investments.
