Open International names Jason Wheelhouse head of sales

Open International has announced the appointment of Jason Wheelhouse to the newly created role of Group Head of Sales.

This includes responsibility for sales delivery at Mi Limited, part of Open International, alongside his existing Open GI broker sales role.

Since 1999, Mi has been a technology provider of web-based insurance solutions to the Lloyds and London markets for underwriters, brokers, MGA's and coverholders. Mi is renowned for using innovative and proven technology and its leading Mi Trader platform is utilised by many prominent companies in the insurance market.

With nearly ten years' experience at Open GI, Jason will continue to manage its broker channel sales function.

Commenting on the appointment, Jason Wheelhouse, Group Head of Sales, Open International, said: "I am delighted to be able to apply my experience to the Mi business in order to expand its position in the market."

Simon Hughes, Sales and Marketing Director, Open GI, adds: "Jason will be instrumental in shaping Mi's future growth. His in-depth, relevant experience and knowledge will help forge a robust sales strategy to win new business and increase market share for Mi."
