Clear2Pay, the international technology provider of next generation payment solutions for financial institutions announces today that it has been selected by Landbouwkrediet (BE) to supply its Open Payment Framework technology to its operations in Belgium for the migration of the CENTEA accounts into the Landbouwkrediet banking systems.

In 2011 Landbouwkrediet, a co-operative financial services institution spanning five banking and insurance brands, acquired CENTEA bank from KBC bank, and as a result it needs to migrate the CENTEA accounts into the Landbouwkrediet systems. As such, the Open Payment Framework will be used as a switch between the target Landbouwkrediet systems and the KBC systems where the CENTEA accounts currently still reside. Critical in this process is the correct routing of the transactions, in particular during the phased transition stage of these accounts.

Yves Danneels, Chief Information Officer at Landbouwkrediet Belgium states: "A flawless integration of newly acquired customers is of vital importance to us as a customer-centric bank. Therefore it was imperative for us to find a solution for the migration of bank accounts that was both proven as well as flexible. With the OPF platform we are confident that we can dynamically rout transactions in this multi-bank environment, following our customer specific routing rules."

Michel Akkermans, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Clear2Pay states: "As a Belgian headquartered organisation we take great pride in supporting Landbouwkrediet in this migration process. We will deploy our experience from the global implementations and the expertise of our local teams to support a seamless migration that is so important, both from a technical as well as a customer experience perspective."
