The business process management (BPM) solution will assist the company in standardising its work processes and ensure consistency across its operations as well as complying with regulatory standards.

AWD10, the latest version of the solution from DST, was chosen by Standard Life to provide the necessary platform and infrastructure to support the company's business expansion strategy. AWD will assist in maintaining high customer service levels while helping to provide more control of operations and automating its transaction processing.

Andy Clachers, Chief Operating Officer at Standard Life, said: "We are confident that AWD will equip us with the capabilities to effectively manage our customer service operations both in local and potential markets. The Standard Life Group, a parent company of Standard Life, has a long association with DST and has used their solutions in the UK and China for several years."

AWD will automatically allocate work to staff according to business rules, user skills and assigned work priorities. Standard Life will be able to closely monitor operational performance and customer service levels through the AWD Dashboard to check that standards are being met.

Tony Armour, Managing Director for DST Business Process Solutions, said: "We are delighted that Standard Life has chosen AWD as a strategic platform to streamline their business operations. We have had a long and successful relationship with Standard Life Group in both the UK and China, and are very pleased that they have selected AWD10 to support their Asia business."
