The solution extends to post settlement with the integration of SunGard's STeP matching, reconciliation and exceptions capabilities. To further automate and manage the end-to-end post trade process across institutions, MINT Trade Management integrates with financial networks including the SunGard Transaction Network (STN).

Investment managers and broker dealers are looking to automate and reduce the cost of post-trade processing. They need to integrate and manage flows between internal applications and external services such as STN, Omgeo OASYS, Omgeo OASYS Global Direct, Omgeo Central Trade Manager (CTM), FIX and SWIFT. MINT Trade Management provides pre-packaged, easy to implement solutions for connectivity to these financial networks.

MINT Trade Management can be customised to fit business processes and consolidates allocation, confirmation and settlement services onto a single platform. The MINT Trade Management dashboard gives business users a unified view of all stages in the post-trade process and the ability to help easily manage and control the process across asset classes and across external services.

Tom King, president of SunGard's MINT and STeP business units, commented, "Our pre-packaged trade management solution will help investment managers and broker dealers to centralise business operations, reduce costs and manage exceptions. Leveraging our MINT and STeP solution sets to deliver allocation, confirmation and settlement components, including our dashboard, advances our goal to provide our customers with the tools to automate every stage of the post-trade process. This is achieved by integrating the post-trade process within an institution with MINT Trade Management, and externally through networks like the SunGard Transaction Network."

The MINT solution runs Sun's Solaris operating system on the SPARC platform.

MINT solutions are certified on Omgeo's OASYS, Omgeo OASYS Global Direct and Central Trade Manager (CTM) services.
