Marc will be responsible for heading up the sales team for Cofunds' institutional service, which provides specialist fund dealing, settlement and sub-custodian services to a range of institutional clients such as private wealth managers, pension administrators, life companies and custody banks.

Marc brings with him 27 years of experience from previous roles at Arbuthnot Securities, Gartmore Investment and, most recently, Invesco Asset Management where he was Managing Director of Invesco Global Cash Management.

Commenting on the new appointment, Christopher James, Director, Institutional Services, said: "In the current environment firms understandably are looking for ways to maximise efficiency, minimise risk and deploy resources so they can focus on what investors and clients are willing to pay for - service and investment performance. We are fortunate to be in a position to offer compelling and, importantly, scalable dealing, settlement and sub custodian services to a growing range of Enterprise clients. Having Marc on board will help ensure that we continue to excel in this area."

Marc Doman said: "Growing the institutional business from the solid foundations already laid makes this an exciting time to be joining the team. The current appointment of Cofunds by a number of significant names in the industry to-date, most recently by Psigma, SEI and Vestra Wealth, and with a raft of further appointments in the pipeline, is testimony to the appeal of what Cofunds has to offer the institutional market."
