AX Trading names John King head, sales

AX Trading LLC today announced that industry veteran John King has joined the firm as Managing Director - Head of Sales.

Mr. King will report to Peter Jenkins, President and Head of the Institutional Equities business at AX Trading. Mr. King is responsible for building the community of traders on The AX Trading Network ("The AX").

Mr. King brings over 20 years' experience in institutional trading and sales in both equities and fixed income. As one of the founding employees of Liquidnet, he launched the Midwest region in 2001 and Liquidnet Canada in 2006. Prior to joining Liquidnet he held a series of positions of increasing responsibility at: Bridge Information Systems; Miller, Tabak, Hirsch & Company; Everen Securities; Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette; and Mabon Securities. He is a graduate of Boston College School of Management.
