The Ingenico solution provided to KIABI will be operated through Axis, the Ingenico platform and iPP320, a retail-oriented secure PIN Pad terminal KIABI chose Ingenico to outsource its payment service. 

Ingenico provided Axis, its centralized payment management platform which secures all payment types, in full compliance with the latest EMV and PCI DSS rules. Ingenico is the single end-to-end solution provider, managing the in-store installation process and full payment service within a single consistent Service Level Agreement. The solution was integrated, accredited and rolled out across all stores in 4 months. Its deployment began end 2011 after the pilot phases from May to August 2011.

This service will be operated through Axis, the Ingenico platform and iPP320, a retail-oriented secure PIN Pad terminal. This agreement offers an integrated solution for the total transactions network for KIABI in Spain and marks a significant improvement in the previous system. It provides KIABI with access to the latest technologies developed by Ingenico. This new development reinforces the leadership of Ingenico in the country. Ingenico will equip all KIABI stores in Spain.

KIABI was looking for a PCI DSS outsourced payment service. With Axis, Ingenico helps its worldwide customers to manage payment transactions from the point of sale to the transaction acquirer. The platform supports all types of payment (in-store, mobile, self-service terminal, telephone or on-line payments) and all payment means (credit card, debit card, loyalty card), in addition to all value-added services such as gift cards, prepaid cards, loyalty programmes, electronic purses or currency conversion. EMV and PCI DSS certified, it complies with security requirements and even goes beyond the scope of the regulations by providing its customers with modules intended to protect them against internal fraud, sensitive data theft and system breakdowns.

In addition, the iPP320 PIN Pad performs fast and secure transactions. This compact and light PIN Pad (weighing just 240 g) is designed for easy handling by consumers. The large screen is easy to read and a large backlit key limits the risk of error when entering the PIN code.
