3V Transaction Services extends mobile platform to Netherlands

3V Transaction Services Ltd, today extended its mobile financial services platform to its Dutch franchise partner, 3V Netherlands.

Building on the success of 3V's O2 Money offering in association with Telefonica in the Republic of Ireland, it marks a further international expansion for 3V's mobile money technology services and a further step in the execution of the company's strategy of providing business technology solutions to operators in the mobile consumer payments sector.

Following on from 3V Netherlands' unique and popular virtual Visa online accounts, powered by 3V Transaction Services, the 3V Visa Prepay service in the Netherlands (www.3vcard.nl) now provides customers with a secure VISA debit card linked to their mobile phone which can be topped up with cash or via bank accounts. It is supported by apps based functionality that allows customers on their mobiles check their account balance, transfer funds to each other in real time and view their previous transactions as well as a host of other alerting and rules based money management tools.

The service is designed to offer Dutch consumers a convenient and globally accepted payment service linked to their mobile phone to allow safe, accessible and universal spend and money management.

Consumers can avail of the service by opening a virtual account or ordering a card online at www.3vcard.nl or in participating retail outlets throughout the Netherlands.

3V Netherlands' Prepay Service is designed to offer consumers a choice of preferred payment solutions, as need arise, whether they wish to buy; coffee at Starbucks with their 3V VISA debit card, a plane ticket online with their 3V Virtual Visa account or alternatively transfer money instantly in real time to friends and family, via a mobile payment apps or a simple text message.
