SS&C Technologies (Nasdaq:SSNC), a global provider of investment and financial software-enabled services and software, today announced that SS&C Fund Services has been selected by Morgan Stanley to provide administration and accounting services for the FX Gateway platform.

Morgan Stanley recently launched FX Gateway, a new multi-manager platform aimed at providing institutional investors access to select currency managers. In turn, the platform seeks to provide currency managers with a more diversified investor base. The platform appointed SS&C as the administrator responsible for net asset value calculations and to leverage SS&C's technology expertise to maximize operational efficiency. Under the terms of the agreement, SS&C will provide transaction processing, prime broker and counterparty reconciliation services and deliver performance and liquidity reporting on a daily basis through its web portal, SSCFundServices.com.

"SS&C stood out with excellent technology, expertise and independence," said James Rogers, Executive Director and Head of the Gateway Platform at Morgan Stanley in London. "We were impressed with the high level of expertise and flexibility in providing solutions that has been demonstrated. It is comforting to know we have a trusted partner that will service the FX Gateway Platform at the highest level to let us focus on growing this business."

"We were selected after a thorough due diligence process that compared SS&C's class leading capabilities to those of other administrators," said Rahul Kanwar, Senior Vice President, SS&C Technologies. "Our ability to deploy a very scalable and yet very customized solution both in terms of people and technology and tight integration with Morgan Stanley systems led to our winning this mandate."

"We are delighted to be working with Morgan Stanley on this new venture," said Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies. "Our full suite of outsourcing expertise, services and state-of-the-art web-based technology and mobile apps are being deployed to provide them with unparalleled transparency and access to the day-to-day operations. We look forward to a successful, long-term relationship."
