Wolters Kluwer Financial Services announced today the company is moving its SDX Secure Document Exchange service to the Cloud to help mortgage lenders make the secure, electronic delivery of mortgage compliance documents to borrowers even faster, easier and more efficient.
SDX's new Cloud-based environment is hosted by NaviSite, Inc., a premier provider of secure enterprise-class Cloud computing services.
Wolters Kluwer Financial Services' SDX service makes it convenient and secure for lenders to send origination and closing documents to borrowers. It does so by delivering documents in minutes electronically versus the days it would take by mail and provides borrowers with the option of securely e-signing and returning documents directly to lenders through SDX. Additionally, SDX allows lenders to reduce the costs of printing, fulfillment and mailing versus the traditional manual, labor-intensive paper-based document delivery process.
In moving to a Cloud-based environment, Wolters Kluwer Financial Services is increasing the scalability and redundancy the SDX service offers lenders to help manage their changing compliance and workflow needs even further. And because SDX is now hosted within a Cloud environment, adding processing power to the service such as increasing memory space, bandwidth or additional servers to help accommodate large spikes in lending volumes is now as simple and quick as moving a dial.
The SDX service will be hosted in the Cloud between two NaviSite data centers that will each securely house lenders' borrower data. That redundancy coupled with the fact that NaviSite's SSAE 16-compliant data centers meet the highest security standards for cloud-enabled data and application integrity means lenders can rest assured borrower data will remain safer than ever with SDX.
"By moving SDX to a Cloud-based environment, we're helping lenders realize even more efficiencies while making borrower data more secure within the origination process," said Jason Marx, vice president and general manager of Residential and Indirect Lending for Wolters Kluwer Financial Services. "It's part of our continued strategy to provide our customers with innovative solutions to their most pressing compliance, risk management and business challenges."
"We are excited that Wolters Kluwer Financial Services has selected our Cloud platform for its Secure Document Exchange service," said Allen Allison, chief security officer, NaviSite. "NaviSite provides a comprehensive security and compliance framework for organizations looking to leverage the speed and efficiencies of managed Cloud services for their critical applications and data."
