Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions, the leader in voice and electronic trading infrastructure and services for the trading communities, today announced a deal with Linkbrokers Derivatives, LLC, an ICAP group company.
Specialists in intermediary broking services for the investment community, Linkbrokers has signed an agreement to deploy Open Trade across its North American derivatives trade floor.
Going live in the first quarter of 2012, the new positions will enable traders at Linkbrokers to work more efficiently, with a clear view of market trends. In addition, the Open Trade smart turret will offer reliable and safe, one-touch contact management capabilities which will accelerate business communications and ensure that the company can meet its employees' current and future trading needs.
"The way in which traders work now makes market visibility vital and lower latency key to success. Open Trade enables us to optimise the service we give our traders and in turn they are able to work faster," said Kerlin Civil, information technology manager at Linkbrokers. He added: "We are very impressed with the quality of service that we have received from Trading Solutions over the years and are confident of a successful deployment in the US."
Supporting the financial services industry, from banks to small and large trading firms, Linkbrokers will also benefit from Open Trade's application portal model, Open Trade Store. The store adds a rich layer of trading and business applications to the desktop, enabling the company's traders to access vital real-time market information.
Lionel Grosclaude, chief executive officer at Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions said: "Linkbrokers is part of our growing North American customer base and we are delighted they have chosen Open Trade. Through Open Trade's flexibility and intuitive nature, they will be able to benefit from superior trading capabilities and sophisticated embedded technology, making it more than just a turret for users."
