The card program is currently available on personal Visa debit and credit cards although will soon be rolled out to the credit union's business accounts. For more information, visit www.lgeccu.org/designyourowncard.

LGE Credit Union has marketed the card program through multiple channels, from in-branch and out-in-the-field to brochures, email and online (including LGE's Facebook page).

Cardholders can choose to upload their own photos or use designs from a number of galleries provided, including more than 30 patriotic, artistic and animal images. The first custom card per account is free; each additional card is $10.

Rhonda Jenkins, Assistant Vice President of Support Services, LGE Community Credit Union, commented: "We were looking for something that would appeal to our members and generally create excitement — and design-your-own cards ticked both those boxes. From day one, our relationship with Serverside has been extremely positive and even after the implementation, they have always been available to offer their assistance."

Gareth Jones, Senior Vice President, Serverside Group, added: "LGE have done a fantastic job launching their 'Design Your Own Card' program and we look forward to seeing the results of their roll-out to business customers in the not-too-distant future. There's a perception that customized cards are only for individual cardholders but this couldn't be further from the truth. Businesses can stamp their identity on their cards, too."
