IT Asset Management Solutions (ITAMS), one of the UK's leading, vendor independent IT Asset, Software Licence and IT Service Management consulting and technology companies, today announced its acquisition of CRC's business, a team of experts specialising in physical asset management, software asset management and software licensing services.
The acquisition of CRC is intended to enhance and strengthen the already well-established asset and licence management arm of ITAMS which has been built on solid market, industry and niche subject matter knowledge over the past decade.
The move will enable ITAMS to leverage the strengths of the organisations' combined expertise as well as providing a springboard for business growth; paving the way to significant new business opportunities, including full managed services for IT Asset, Software and Service Management.
"We are enthusiastic to be part of this initiative and recognise the value and security our customers will gain from being part of a larger organisation supporting their individual requirements," said John Fox, Director of CRC. "For many years we have had a close working relationship with ITAMS, so it was a natural decision to integrate our services under the ITAMS umbrella with its extended portfolio of IT consultancy services and technologies."
As more and more organisations are looking to streamline their IT budgets, aiming at operational efficiencies in today's difficult economic climate, ITAMS' consultants have been a much sought after resource in high profile firms, building pragmatic, cost and time effective solutions tailored exactly to their IT Asset and Service Management issues and priorities.
"This is a milestone in ITAMS' history," comments Stephane Jansem, Managing Partner at ITAMS. "We welcome CRC's substantial experience built over the past 15 years bringing sought after skills to our highly respected team of specialist consultants, operational sales and delivery staff. We are excited to work with this group of highly motivated and knowledgeable individuals who understand the industry well and our vision for future success."
Over the coming weeks ITAMS will be merging the organisations and transitioning customers. The immediate goal of the combined businesses is to provide continuity and quality of services to existing ITAMS and CRC customers and then to develop the business rapidly from there.
