Galiam will be using OneTick CEP and Database, the single solution for tick data management, analytics and complex event processing (CEP), to conduct quantitative research on historical tick data and also to run Galiam's trading model analytics in real time.

"As Galiam continues to build our business in the fast moving global equities markets, the combined OneTick CEP and OneTick Database solution was the natural choice to support our rapid growth," said Joseph Huayllasco, CTO at Galiam. "Easily integrating with all of our other systems, OneMarketData's innovative, comprehensive solution, expert customer support and cost efficiency aligned flawlessly with our business model and we expect it to help drive our business going forward."

"The full service solution that OneMarketData offers by combining OneTick CEP and OneTick Database is helping growing firms such as Galiam quickly and accurately track, store and manage data, giving their clients timely analytical support in today's competitive market," said Richard Chmiel, Vice President for Global Sales and Marketing of OneMarketData. "The ability to utilize the complete span of real-time and historical data provides firms with the competitive edge they need in today's markets."

Built from inception as a single integrated system, OneTick allows users to create a single code-set for historical analysis and real-time signal generation. Users are able to apply OneTick analytics to historical and real-time data queries, significantly lowering the total cost of ownership and standing out against similar systems. Users benefit from minimized costs related to licensing, installing and overseeing various data management systems which don't have the ability to collect and analyze historical and real-time data.

The platform also aids in extensive quantitative research, strategy development and thorough back-testing through bull, bear and other market-impacting conditions.
