Ceridian Stored Value Solutions GmbH (SVS) has recently become a founding member of the Prepaid Forum Deutschland (PFD). The launch of this trade organization follows a sharp rise over recent years in the use of prepaid payment solutions throughout Germany.
The PFD represents the prepaid payments industry in Germany at a governmental level and lobbies for change in the legislative framework governing prepaid solutions. This includes a bill currently being considered by the federal government concerning e-payments and money laundering.
Juergen Stichenwirth, Vice President of Sales for Continental Europe and the Middle East for SVS, said: "We were delighted to become a founding member of this excellent and much needed organization.
