EDB ErgoGroup appoints Morten Søgård SVP, strategy and business development

EDB ErgoGroup ASA has appointed Morten Søgård as a new Senior Vice President responsible for strategy and business development. Morten Søgård takes up his position on 1 September 2011.

"Morten Søgård has extensive management experience and detailed knowledge of the IT industry in Norway and the Nordic region. He has played a key role in implementing the merger and realising the synergy targets set by the company. This role will continue to be an important focus for Morten. We also look forward to making good use of his extensive expertise for the benefit of our customers", comments Terje Mjøs, CEO of EDB ErgoGroup.

Morten Søgård is a business economics graduate and has worked for the last 20 years in the IT industry in Norway and the Nordic region. Over the last year, he has been head of the Integration Management Office set up by EDB ErgoGroup in connection with the merger. Prior to this, Morten Søgård held various senior management positions in ErgoGroup since joining the company in 2005. He also has extensive experience of senior management positions in CSC, PMSC, and Computas, as well as in the insurance industry.
