SELCO is implementing back office services with VSoft's global data center, VServe, which delivers the solutions as either an ASP or a hosted model. Long-term, the credit union plans to operate check processing functions in-house. With VServe, SELCO can expect a smooth transition when it is ready to bring check processing in-house because it will maintain the exact VSoft products.

"As a provider of all check processing solutions, VSoft is the ideal partner to meet both our current needs and to support us as we continue to grow," said Lee Anne Brockelman, operations support manager for SELCO Community Credit Union. "In addition to providing the advanced technology we need to compete and gain full Check 21 advantages, VSoft enables us to seamlessly convert the solution to an in-house operation and add other products to enhance our efficiency and services."

VServe provides SELCO and more than 60 other financial institutions with an outsourcing alternative that each can manage directly, making the transition to RDC an easy one. Its data center is staffed by operations experts, network architects and application administration managers who provide customer support 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

"VSoft understands the importance of adapting our solutions to meet the unique business needs of each client, and we look forward to being a trusted partner to SELCO as the credit union evolves," said Murthy Veeraghanta, chairman and managing director, VSoft Corporation. "In addition to being equipped with tools to enhance productivity and reduce costs, SELCO now has the foundation to implement additional services in the future both quickly and easily."
