Jwaala and eWise team on online payment alternative for credit union members

Online banking solution provider, Jwaala, and payments solution provider, eWise, have partnered to offer a new online payment alternative for credit union members, merchants, and billers.

Through this partnership, the Secure Vault Payments solution has been integrated into Jwaala's Better Online Banking platform (BOB) allowing users to make payments to online merchants and billers through simple, secure and immediate ACH transactions.

Secure Vault Payments (SVP) is a safe, secure and private online payment network developed by NACHA — The Electronic Payments Association® and eWise. Using the payment method, consumers simply select the SVP payment option on a merchant's site. They are directed to their online banking site where they sign in and make the payment.

By using the financial institution's online banking site and the ACH network, the payment is immediate, verified and does not require the consumer to create an account at the merchant site where confidential information is typically stored; making SVP the only payment option that offers consumers an online payment choice without sharing any personal account information.

Jwaala and eWise recently joined forces to provide the payment alternative to members of Utah based Mountain America Credit Union who has been live with Jwaala's Better Online Banking platform since May. The SVP payment option will be available to all financial institutions deploying Jwaala's Better Online Banking platform. Future innovations will include mobile access to SVP.
