The $2 billion Southfield, Michigan-based corporate credit union provides wholesale investment, credit and correspondent services to more than 300 credit unions.

CenCorp offers its credit union and credit-union affiliate members with a comprehensive package of financial products and corresponding banking services, including overnight accounts, term investments, lending, share draft processing and ACH services. The organization selected the Viewpointe Pointe2Pointe solution as a quick, cost-effective means for conducting check image exchange.

Viewpointe's Pointe2Pointe with Internet connectivity service provides organizations with a secure, efficient means of exchanging electronic check images with Viewpointe's other exchange customers. The service helps financial institutions move toward eliminating the financial and logistical burdens associated with processing paper-based checks.

"Financial organizations are continually seeking ways in which to connect with other institutions without increasing costs and straining internal resources," said Glenn Wheeler, president, Viewpointe Clearing, Settlement & Association Services. "We believe CenCorp members will benefit greatly from being part of this wider network while adding value to all of the members in the Viewpointe community."
