EDB deputy CEO quits to take the reins at Norwegian depository

Deputy Chief Executive Officer John-Arne Haugerud is to leave EDB ErgoGroup ASA to take up a new position as Chief Executive Officer of VPS (The Norwegian Central Securities Depository). He will leave EDB ErgoGroup by 01.02. 2012 at the latest

John-Arne Haugerud has worked for EDB ErgoGroup for 20 years, and over this period he has held various positions in the executive management team and has played a central role in the company's strategic development. John-Arne Haugerud led EDB through the merger with ErgoGroup, and he has been Deputy CEO of the merged company.

"I have had a fantastic time with EDB and now with EDB ErgoGroup. Norway and the Nordic countries still need strong regional suppliers of IT services. Through the merger, we have established a Norwegian-based company that is capable of playing this role", comments John-Arne Haugerud.
