"Through the integration, Clairmail can add an additional level of security that reduces complexity and increases confidence within evolving business environments."

Mobile security remains a perpetual barrier to widespread adoption of mobile banking and Clairmail is leading the charge by proactively engaging in technology partnership for mobile authentication with RSA. Especially critical in light of advanced mobile banking functionality, including Mobile Remote Deposit and Person-to-Person payments, this partnership improves financial institutions' ability to mitigate transaction risk and to protect and prevent breaches of sensitive banking information.

"UMB Bank is committed to providing our customers with the most secure and efficient technology solutions. With the continued rise of fraud and identity thefts, we knew we needed to implement a mobile solution that would help monitor and control potential threats faced by our mobile customers," said Christine Pierson, Executive Vice President, Consumer Service, UMB Bank. "We chose Clairmail's mobile platform to strategically grow our mobile initiative because of the platform's integration with RSA Adaptive Authentication. We are confident that with this added layer of security, behind the scenes multifactor user authentication and fraud detection, our customers will be safer and more secure accessing private account information wherever they are."

"Clairmail has always been diligent in mobile security. From being the first to deliver secure consumer interactions via SMS, to multi-factored verification of identity in alerts, FI consumer security and privacy has been our cardinal concern," said Gordon Simpson, CTO at Clairmail. "This technology partnership with RSA allows banks and their customers to benefit from exceptional security while accessing private account information through the Clairmail's Smartphone application and mobile web solution."
