Kony's unique Write Once, Run Everywhere platform enables applications to be changed once for all channels, ensuring faster adoption of new operating systems and standards as they are introduced, while eliminating maintenance, upgrade and future development costs.

Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, Huntington has $53 billion in assets and more than 11,000 employees. The bank has more than 600 local branches and an array of alternative distribution channels including internet and mobile banking, telephone banking, and more than 1,300 ATMs, throughout its six-state banking franchise: Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Kentucky

"We're thrilled to be working with such an innovative mobile application platform provider," said Jeff Dennes, chief digital officer for Huntington. "We evaluated alternative platforms and Kony's platform was the only one that allowed us to write the application once and deploy it across all channels and operating systems. Their platform offers the most cost effective and efficient avenue for us to provide our customers with feature-rich apps."

"Banks are seeing clear ROI from mobile banking applications, with customers migrating to banks with feature-rich mobile applications that let them manage their finances on the go," said Raj Koneru, CEO of Kony. "By using the Kony Platform, Huntington Bank will be able to create a robust mobile portfolio that will both enhance relationships with customers and will continually be updated with new functionality in the future as the market evolves, increasing customer retention and providing an intimate environment for Huntington to engage with customers."
