In partnership with Indonesian partner, Visionet, Ingenico will provide 40.000 units of EFT930G payment terminals in 2011 and into early 2012. This new order follows a previous selection by Bank Mandiri of 15.000 Ingenico terminals placed earlier in 2011. This further enhances the business partnership initiated in 2010.

Bank Mandiri offers an extensive range of banking products and services and financial solutions to its customers ranging from individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises to large corporations and Government entities. The Bank has already deployed 47.000 payment terminals though rental schemes to a local outsourcing company, with various brands of payment terminals, including Ingenico.

With this new project, Bank Mandiri aims to further penetrate the retail market where the deployment of payment terminals targets up to 200.000 units within the coming years.

Bradley Prentice, Regional Director for South East Asia, Ingenico, said:
quoteWe have placed a high priority on creating value in our partnership with Bank Mandiri. This additional order demonstrates the enhanced commitment we have worked hard to develop. We will continue to evaluate the expanding payment needs of Bank Mandiri and deliver our products and services ensuring we meet their future needs. We consider Bank Mandiri as an important strategic partner in a fast growing market"
