With headquarters in Athens and active presence in fifteen SEE countries, Printec will sell, deliver and support Alaric's ultra high performance Authentic payments switching and Fractals fraud prevention solutions in all countries where it operates.

Alaric is the developer and provider of the highest performing fraud prevention and payments engine products. Alaric's products are already used by more than twenty banks in the region and working with Printec will greatly accelerate its market penetration.

Printec, South East Europe's leader in transaction automation solutions, selected Alaric in accordance with its strategy to partner with the best international solution providers in the payments industry. Alaric's Authentic payment switching system can be delivered "pre-integrated" with the Fractals real time fraud prevention solution. This delivers a unique, modern approach to payments by putting intelligent fraud prevention at the heart of high performance payment switching. The flexibility of the open platform makes it the perfect replacement for outmoded legacy systems.

Steve Whiting, Business Development Director at Alaric commented, "As fraud increases in South East Europe, Printec has recognised that institutions need sophisticated, modern solutions which handle both fraud detection and prevention and payments switching. Alaric's products and Printec's strong presence in the region make an ideal combination for the South East Europe market."

Alaric's software runs on low cost, open platforms which enable customers to reduce fraud losses and speed up payment processing while at the same time lowering their infrastructure costs. Like Alaric, Printec has an excellent reputation for customer service and their knowledge and expertise in the European market makes for a hugely successful partnership.

Vassilis Mathioudakis, Product Development and Marketing Director at Printec agrees, "We want to be able to offer our customers, among them large acquirers, issuers and processors, the best possible payment switching and fraud prevention solutions. We believe that partnering with Alaric we create value for our customers by enabling them to process, monitor and manage their electronic payments ecosystems in a more secure, reliable, flexible and efficient manner".
