Misys Banking Systems (Misys) today announces the launch of a range of new SWIFTSolutions Enablers.
These have been designed as complimentary packages to allow customers to implement and integrate the new range of SWIFTNet products and services into their business in a cost-effective and non-disruptive manner, without the need to replace their existing messaging infrastructure.
The new SWIFTSolutions are combinations of messaging standards, service descriptions and services that offer users a range of business benefits, such as SWIFTNet FileAct and SWIFTNet Cash Reporting. Targeted to meet the future requirements of financial messaging, they take advantage of the expanded capabilities of the SWIFTNet IP-based messaging platform. This gives banks the ability to concentrate on the business needs of customers, whilst allowing corporates the ability to integrate SWIFTNet seamlessly with their back-office systems.
The new SWIFTSolutions Enablers from Misys will provide customers with financial messaging applications and integration capabilities that provide all the processing and connectivity components required to integrate SWIFTSolutions into their existing infrastructures. Designed to be rapidly and cost-effectively deployed, these Enablers can be integrated with multiple third party systems and do not require the support of any existing messaging solutions. The enablers are therefore completely standalone.
Malcolm Porter, Head of Strategic Alliances at Misys Wholesale Banking Systems, comments: "SWIFTSolutions herald a new era for financial messaging, providing solutions for everything from payments to cash management and trade services. However, they have presented all banks and thus our customers, with a challenge - how to take advantage of these solutions without investing considerable amounts in messaging solutions and processing technology. Drawing on our close relationship with SWIFT and our expertise with our SWIFTReady Gold Financial EAI 2005 products, we believe the new enablers will allow banks and corporates to increase automation, reduce both operational cost and risk whilst achieving global reach and maintaining a competitive edge. We look forward to working with our customers to help them maximise the business opportunities that both Misys and SWIFT can provide."
Allan Spalding, Business Manager, Partner Solutions at SWIFT comments: "SWIFTNet is central to the banking transaction process and as such, we need to ensure that we provide our customers with a robust accessible system, which constantly evolves to ensure that it can cope with the banking pressures of today and tomorrow's world. Misys SWIFTSolutions Enablers allows customers to take full advantage of the extended capabilities of SWIFTNet, allowing them to operate more efficiently."
